This is one of the passages I return to again and again.
Because so many of the female MAT CEOs I coach are walking through darkness in quiet, courageous ways:
→ Making space for uncomfortable conversations
→ Holding equity in systems that resist real change
→ Carrying the emotional weight of scrutiny, resistance, and being “the only one”
These moments — while disorienting — are often sacred invitations.
To pause.
To reflect.
To grow.
Carl Jung called it the individuation process — a journey not away from difficulty, but deeper into self.
And yet, too often, women leaders are expected to keep going, to perform strength, to carry it all without breaking stride.
